A Midsummer Daydream
A Midsummer Daydream
As part of Cruinniú na nÓg, South Tipperary Arts Centre will offer a day of creativity to children and teens based on the stories and characters of Shakespeare’s classic play ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’. The Arts Centre will be transformed into the woodland bower of Queen Titania and visitors will have a wide range of activities to participate in, ranging from lego-building and mask-making to a wide variety of fairy and woodland themed arts and crafts activities that are age relevant. There will be face-painters, storytellers and a shadow-puppet show, and the day will finish with a grand finale – a performance by the participants, followed by a disco. There will be two special sessions, one for babies and toddlers (10am-11am), and the second for families who have children with sensory needs (11 am - 12:15 pm). Booking is required for the Toddler and sensory sessions, see links below.
