Visit & Access

Access note:
·       Step-free access into the building and automated doors into the main gallery space
·       Lift access to the upstairs workshop space – contact a staff member for assistance
·       Accessible toilets within main entrance hallway
·       Seating at the window in the main gallery space
·       Smooth, even surface within main gallery space
·       The gallery is generally very quiet.
·       We are happy to accommodate Guide and Service dogs.  
·       The doors into the main gallery space feature a no-touch sensor – wave your hand infront and they open outwards towards the front door although assistance may be required at the main entrance
·       Accessible toilets
·       Large print exhibition notes are available on request

We facilitate group visits, however we appreciate prior notice.  Please contact info@southtippartscentre.ie to plan your visit.  

The Arts Centre is located in the town centre, just off Parnell St., and a 5 minute walk from the Main Guard.  Clonmel is situated on the N24 Limerick to Waterford road, which connects with the M8 (Cork-Dublin) at Cahir, and the M9 via the N76 (Kilkenny-Clonmel).

On-street parking is generally available on Nelson St., Parnell St., and the Quays.  Suirside FREE Carpark is located just off the old Waterford Road, a 5 minute walk away. All Day Parking is available at Suir Island Carpark for €3.50.
