Ain’t I a Woman? is an exhibition of 3 artworks by 3 artists to mark International Woman’s Day, and the first centenary of women’s suffrage in Ireland. The exhibition, curated by Catherine Marshall, presents the work of Kathy Prendergast, Pauline Cummins and Aideen Barry. What links the artists across the generations is their integrity, their subversion of conventional forms representation and their stalwart sense of humour. The works by Kathy Prendergast and Pauline Cummins are on loan from the IMMA Collection. Ain’t I a Woman? is part of South Tipperary Art Centre’s concert series Finding a Voice.
