Celebrating Coracle, a small publishing press directed by writer and artist Erica Van Horn and poet, artist and editor Simon Cutts, based in rural South Tipperary since 1996.
Coracle is a small publishing press directed by writer and artist Erica Van Horn and poet, artist and editor Simon Cutts, based in rural South Tipperary since 1996. Through an extensive archive of their books and ephemera, this exhibition will explore the influence of Coracle on artist-led-publishing, the development of the artist book, and the book as art object.
Accompanying the exhibition will be a newly commissioned text by Dr. Julie Bates, as well as a series of talks related to Coracle’s work and artist-led-publishing.
