Fifth and final in a series of early years art sessions with Artist/Early Years Facilitator Eilis O'Toole

Sensory play enhances learning through hands-on activities that stimulate the child’s senses. These immersive workshops will provide an opportunity for creative exploration of their world by playing with various homemade sensory materials, natural materials and art materials. These are messy, fun, creative and social workshops where children and parents/care givers have the opportunity to play and create alongside each other. The sessions will take place over 5 weeks.

Week 5 - Messy Play

This immersive workshop will provide a tactile and sensory environment in which we will be exploring the endless possibilities of both wet and dry messy play. By providing a variety of both homemade sensory materials and art materials the children will be able to explore and manipulate the different textures and materials.
