Join composer and musician Eamon O’Malley as he gives a taste of what’s in store for Culture Night 2022 for the Clonmel Song Cycle, an outdoor performance spectacle of original music that breathes life in to some well-known and lesser-known characters from Clonmel’s vivid history.
Talk/recital starts at 7pm on Friday May 27th Under The Arches of the Main Guard, Sarsfield Street, Clonmel.
Culture Night 2022 will see Clonmel Song Cycle feature original music and songs by Eamon O’Malley and the cream of local acting and dramatic talent, “Clonmel Song Cycle” will take audiences on a trip through Clonmel’s past and cause them to look anew at their local environs.
Eamon O’Malley is a Tipperary-based musician, composer, musical director and educator. He is the Musical Director of Uproar Rock Chorus and Belle Voci Choir. His first solo EP - Liminal Spaces Vol 1 - was released in December 2020 and is available to stream from all major platforms. He is also the creator and host of the Sofa Symphony Listening Party series - an online interactive listening party experience that focus on great works of concert music. He is a founder member of CLE, an electro-acoustic music and digital media ensemble based in Clonmel.
