We will look closely at the works of several outstanding authors (eg. Margaret Drabble, Emma Healey, David Lodge). We will take inspiration from these writers and try to figure out how they do what they do. There will be writing exercises every week and opportunities for feedback. Margaret is an experienced teacher and writer. A native of South Tipperary, she lived abroad for fifteen years. Returning to Ireland two years ago, she made Clonmel her home. Margaret has a BA in English and Anthropology, a Higher Diploma in Adult and Further Education and a Master’s Degree in Creative Writing.
