Tommy Hanrahan is a young Tipperary stick-maker, who is keeping this unique traditional art alive.
Tommy will talk about how he became interested in sticks, and what attracted him to the craft, as well as sharing some insights into choosing sticks and the techniques he uses in his process. This will be of particular interest to anyone who is interested in the traditional craft process, as well as general woodworking enthusiasts, but would be enjoyable for anyone who's interested in people sharing their creative process!
The talk will start at 11am on Saturday 26th March, and there will be time for q&a afterwards.
