This is a workshop like no other. Joanne won the Best Workshop Awards for Mollie Makes Magazine in London and is delighted to announce new dates all over the country.
It's amazing the looks you can achieve with just a little bit of know-how and some inspiration, and this day course will help you do just that. It covers a variety of different techniques to enhance your furniture. This workshop is suitable for people who have experience in painting furniture, and it is also suitable for beginners. It’s a full day’s workshop in a fun and relaxing atmosphere.
It’s a great experience and you will meet like-minded people while learning loads!
In this full day up cycled furniture workshop, You will learn:
How to source, prepare and prime.
How to paint, and what paint to use.
You will learn a variety of techniques such as applying wallpaper, transferring font, geometric designs, gold leaf, distressing, white washing and lots of new techniques like how to create gingham.
Everything is supplied, and you will receive a small piece of furniture to work on (small table / locker like image below), along with a detailed booklet with all the instructions you learned throughout the day.
We ask not to wear your best Sunday gear, an apron will be provided for you, but you still may get paint on your clothes.
The workshop spaces are limited to allow for 2 metre distance rules. You will be asked to wear a mask and hand sanitizer will be provided on site. All tools are sanitised after each use.
