The third of our free-flow writing sessions with poet and writer, Jenny Cox
Word Sparks is back again for session 3 which will centre on our latest exhibition, The Blackened Circle, the results of a nine-month socially engaged project by Seamus Nolan in collaboration with members of the Clonmel Traveller community. Through Word Sparks, poet and writer Jenny Cox invites writers to step in and engage with the 5 diverse exhibitions that will be running in STAC throughout our 30th anniversary year.
These morning sessions offer creatives the opportunity to use varied and thought-provoking works of art as prompts for sparking interesting conversations and fresh writing ideas. Completely free, with no booking requirements, and refreshments provided, this series offers poets and writers a special opportunity to encounter visual art in a unique way.
Word Sparks will take place at South Tipperary Arts Centre on Saturday mornings on the following dates:
11th July
26th September
14th November
Session 3: Saturday 11th July, 11am to 12.30pm
Artist: Seamus Nolan in collaboration with members of the Clonmel Traveller community
