The regeneration of the Kickham Barracks site is a major development for Clonmel and the first phase is now underway. STAC has undertaken an agreement with Tipperary County Council to use the former military chapel as an arts facility/venue.
The building is in need of a number of upgrades, but immediate repairs are required to the buildings rainwater drainage system. Tipperary County Council is supporting this work and the Heritage Council has awarded a grant of €15,000. The work is to be finished in August 2021.
